WOOF! is a graphic novel, wordless except for the plaintive calls of a mysterious dog who pesters the main character, prodding them to seek out the dog and find what destination it might be leading to. The narrative follows the main character through endless days of the same routine, shaken up by the appearance of a strange dog who calls out in the night, prodding the character to seek out the destination that it is pushing them toward.
The illustrations by Lane Lloyd are deliberately vague as to gender stereotypes and the main characters can be interpreted as men, women, or something less defined. LGBTQ+ friendly.
